Hiring the Hall

The Hall is available to hire, either in 4 hour hire periods or full days. We are flexible with start times, but request that all hire periods finish no later than 11.00pm. Please contact us to discuss your ideas and we can provide quotes based on your requirements.

We offer a tempting range of catering options to suit your event and budget, and can create a bespoke package or provide something which is not listed. Please note we provide all catering in-house and do not allow external caterers. We are happy to discuss beverage options such as corkage. Please contact us for more details.

Filming & Photography Location

Chillington Hall and its grounds provide a a wealth of scenery and environments for photo shoots and filming. 

We have previously welcomed television productions, independent film makers and numerous fashion and interiors photography sessions. We have various spaces and options to suit most requirements, whether you're looking for grand architecture, beautiful unspoilt scenery or our 18th century stables then please do contact us to arrange a viewing.

As a private home and Estate, we are able to offer more flexibility and privacy than some other venues and are ideally located near to the M6, M54 & A5. We have great local rail connections  just a few miles away, and have good quality accommodation options for crew within minutes of us. 

Hiring out the Park

Chillington Hall has a stunning Park which was designed by the famous landscaper Lancelot 'Capability' Brown in the 1760's. It has large flat grassy areas to the front and sides of the Hall, a sixty acre lake and ancient woodlands, all with good access for vehicles from the nearby main roads. The area is perfect for hiring as a location for sporting events, country shows, charity fundraisers or concerts. 

Hiring the Park can be done as a whole or just a part of it, so hire prices vary depending on requirements, so please contact us to discuss options with us. 

Please note that we are unable to hire the park out to erect a marquee for use as a wedding reception venue.

18th Century 'Model' Farm Buildings

Chillington Hall's 'Model' Farm is a fine example of an 18th century farm building complex which was restored to its former glory a few years ago. It includes a dovecote, pig sties, stables and an acorn boiling house. One of the hay-lofts has been converted into a flexible learning and meeting space. It is accessed by 12 steps with a handrail. It can accommodate up to 75 people, and is furnished with kitchenette and accessible toilets which makes it ideal for school groups, home educators, activity sessions, meetings or even children's parties.  

The buildings are available to hire out on their own or as part of the Park hire, please contact us to arrange a viewing and to discuss hire prices.

4x4 Course

The park and grounds surrounding Chillington Hall contain a purpose built 4x4 course which can be tailored to suit novice drivers as well as competent off roaders to enjoy. It contains water obstacles, rough woodland tracks, steep inclines and ascents.

We have several years of experience working with companies who specialise in showcasing new 4x4 vehicles and can offer VIP packages as well as more relaxed sessions to those  groups who just want to have a bit of fun in the mud.
