Christmas by Candlelight

Step into Christmas at Chillington Hall with an intimate, candlelit tour hosted by Charlie Giffard, the 30th generation of his family to call this remarkable estate home. This is a rare opportunity to explore the Hall in its festive splendour while hearing first‑hand what it’s really like to own, run and live in such an extraordinary place.

Upon arrival, Charlie will personally welcome you before guiding you through his childhood home. As you wander through rooms glowing with candlelight and crackling open fires, Charlie will share stories of the Hall’s architecture, art, family traditions, and the realities of living a modern life in a house built for a very different era!

Your magical evening concludes with mulled wine and mince pies around the towering Christmas tree, accompanied by sing-along traditional carols played on the grand piano and the glow of a roaring open fire.

Tickets are limited so please book in advance, small group bookings are accepted subject to availability.

Two tour times are available:

4pm - tour starts promptly at 4.15pm and finishes at 6.30pm.

7pm - tour starts promptly at 7.15pm and finishes at 9.30pm.
