A summer visit to Chillington Hall is far more than a day out! It’s a chance to step inside one of Staffordshire’s most atmospheric historic estates, a family home lived in by the Giffards since 1178 and shaped by centuries of stories, architecture, and breathtaking landscape design.

Explore an 18th‑century Georgian masterpiece

Set on the Staffordshire/Shropshire border, Chillington Hall blends two striking Georgian styles - the 1724 south front by Francis Smith of Warwick, and the grand later additions by Sir John Soane. Inside, you’ll discover elegant rooms, family treasures, and the stunning Soane‑designed Saloon.
